True, the duro is strong out of the box. So... Lets go head to head in let's say... 14 years, 262,000 miles with the following repairs allowed: 1 starter, 1 water pump, 1 lift pump, 47 oil change's, 30 air filter's, and 38 fuel filter's. also, 3 break jobs, and 2 transmission rebuilt. 5 set's of tire's.
When it get's to that age and miles, with no more repairs than what I listed, than its a race. |

I've seen Dmaxes with more miles and less time in the shop... |

I've seen cummins and powerchokes do the same. One cummins in particular the guy never serviced to my knowledge. the reason he brought it to us was "LOSS OF POWER" well he hadn't replaced the air filter in forever and it sucked the damn thing right down the intake tube and into the turbo's impeller.
I've personally seen more cummins trucks go over 300K than any other make. |

| eh those are nothing Ive see trucks with twice the horsepower. that doesn't make them the most efficient trucks though. Cummins is the most used engine out there. semis use it you dont see duramaxs out there in semis. that alone speaks volumes for the Cummins |
