good things I hear, always looking for good feedback about products, this product if as advertised, would be something I would use. Any reason not to use fuel additives?

The biggest reason why you shouldn't use an additive is that you don't need one. If your fuel is so bad that it needs additives you should consider buying fuel elsewhere.
Save the money you would have spent on additives and buy a good quality fuel filter and replace it often. Crack the water separator lever every time you fill the fuel tank. Those simple things will do your fuel system more good than any additive on the market.
If you insist on using a fuel additive the only company I would recommend is Stanadyne. They also happen to manufacture diesel injection pumps and fuel system components. Stanadyne probably knows more about diesel fuel systems than "monster diesel" ever will. Stanadyne also tells you exactly what they are selling you. "Monster diesel" lists the main component (90%) in their additive as "trade secret". I bet it's snake oil.
